Sea Kayaking And Overnight At The Pacific Coast Canada (Sechelt)

We rented our kayak at www.pedalspaddles.com in Sechelt. In this video Randall and I are going on a sea kayak trip in Canada, BC. We got caught in bad weather and were glad when we reached a beach with oysters all over it. These oysters were not affected by the red tide, which we double checked with the natives there and with the red tide alarm system online. ----------------------------------------¬----------------------- ►► SOCIAL MEDIA ◄◄ ★ Website ► www.survivallilly.at ★ Facebook ► https://goo.gl/j79k3j ★ Twitter ► https://twitter.com/SurvivalLilly ★ Instagram ► https://instagram.com/survival_lilly/ ----------------------------------------¬----------------------- ►► SUPPORT LILLY ◄◄ ★ Spreadshirt ► https://shop.spreadshirt.com/SurvivalLilly ★ Lilly’s Amazon Store ► http://astore.amazon.com/survlill-20 ★ Paypal ► https://www.paypal.me/SurvivalLilly ----------------------------------------¬----------------------- ►► GEAR AND EQUIPMENT LILLY IS USING ◄◄ ★ Trouser ► http://amzn.to/2aShNpf ★ Survival Knife ► http://amzn.to/2b0TNmb ★ Fire Steel ► http://amzn.to/2aShECh ★ EDC Rucksack ► http://amzn.to/2aYsg3I ★ Bug Out Bag ► http://amzn.to/2aDh5t7 ★ Lilly’s Shoes ► http://amzn.to/2aEnirZ ★ Lilly’s New Camera ► http://amzn.to/2b5w5of If you liked this video, don’t forget to hit the like button and share it with your friends on Facebook ♥ Feel free to subscribe to my channel. ♥ Hello my name is Lilly and I am making videos about primitive living skills, survival, bushcraft, camping gear and prepping. I'm surprised Trudeau hasn't turned BC into a muslim refugee center paid for by the tax payers!! Trudeau is the ABSOLUTE WORST thing to EVER happen to Canada! He's almost as bad as Angela Merkel! Gives millions to a terrorist because he had to spend time at Gitmo!

Had a few hours doing a similar bit of sea kayaking three years ago. Our group paddled out to an island for lunch. Loads of bald eagles (I couldn't believe how many!), very cloudy and misty, hardly any waves and submarines being tested nearby (but they were underwater). I was half-hoping for orca but none graced us with its presence. I think the climate in the Vancouver/Seattle area must be similar to ours in Scotland -I felt quite at home!

I used bring bear spray as a bear hunter and hunt guide for family only but then I saw a grizzly attack story and person used a whole can did nothing to stop attack ,.Bears face was all red with the pepper but ineffective, I think it's Canada maximum limit of cyan pepper content that made it useless, maybe just borrow a 44 or 45 rifle even 22lr better then nothing, apply for non resident small games license, you could load first few rounds with blank fire to scare and the rest live rounds?

My wife & I have canoed Sechelt Inlet and made our base camp at Tazooney Narrows. It was in September and there were millions of jelly fish for miles of paddling. I have been around many, many bears in wilderness areas of the Pacific NW and they have never been a serious problem for me. Wherever they are hunted, like the area you were on Vancouver Island, they will avoid you at all costs.

When I lived in Seattle I sailed with a couple that would spend a week or more in a secret cove each summer that had so many oysters that they took their skiff in daily to collect them and when they left they would have to replace their rubber boots because the oyster shells would have destroying them.

Bit of a random comment... my favorite survival dude from TV is Matt Graham, he has 10,000 subscribers, whereas relatively unknown survival Lilly has 200,000+ subscribers...!!! That's amazing! Well done. I'm actually logged in on my girlfriends profile, and she noticed I was commenting on your videos, but after watching you in action she loves you too. You are kind of a big deal. Well done, excellent camera work in Canada and the rest of the videos are informative and we'll presented. Forget accountancy, be what you were born to be. :).

A piece of advice. Use axe. I have a 800 grams axe and I use it, because it takes less calories to carry an axe an chop wood with it than to chop wood with a knife and a log. Please, try it.

+Survival Lilly please use some normalize on the sound, because sound is so weak (not speaking about the wind), that I have to crank the volume so high that the next video I watch blows the speakers...
On older videos, you have segments alternating with so different sound levels that I have to constantly adjust volume when watching... this is annoying :( Otherwise, I love your videos :D
