A leaf blower is designed for high velocity which is like a high gear ratio while you're trying to pull a trailer uphill. Mount a large model airplane prop to that same motor, avoid chopping your fingers off and you might get a usable speed out of it.

I want to win the contest because I cut my own lawn and want to keep the leaves off of it for the winter. The blower I have is electric so I have to run power cords all around my yard so I can't do my entire yard to win this would be great so I can even suck the leaves and then throw them away, and also since I can't bag my grass clippings I could just blow them off.

Hey Allyn, I've followed just about all your vids " except for the Christmas light ones" and must say you keep it interesting. I live in MD. where the weather is somewhat like Indiana was for you. Just finished off putting a Deck with retaining wall up which is all filled with landscape rocks and with the fall coming a pond us that cordless blower sure would come in handy for all the leaves it's about to receive, plus being lightweight and easy to handle would be ideal. I'd post a pic of the project but not sure how. All the tips in your vids have really helped me. I bought the PAS 225 and man what a dream. any way keep up the great vids because you are a wealth of knowledge even though you do make some mistakes but are man enough to admit it and correct it. After all we all are human.......

Love your videos man. We lived in Cape Canaveral for 2 years and I wish I would've tried this. You need to get into kite surfing! Hey Allen, Great vids! Im here in PA near philly and want your advice on adding Lime to the lawn? Should I do a soil sample first or will adding lime help regardless of needing it or not? The reason I ask is because I have some parts of my lawn that just wont grow grass no matter what i do and the only thing i can think of is the ph level must be bonkers in that area.... Anyway looking forward to what you have to save 'bout that!

Ps... Nothing to do w this video what so ever..... But would appreciate a quick response from LCN or anyone reading.... I had my lawn looking pretty good.... But put down juuuuuust a lil to much weed and feed in a few spots that I had some clover coming in ..... And let's just say there are a few 2-3ft circle areas that are completely dead grass now..... ( I'm in NY and its end of August) Suggestions??? Pull up dead grass and re seed? Keep grass there and somehow treat and it will go back green? Looking for quickest way to revive and look good soon????

Well, here's my question; looking at your kayak, it looks like you've really got that thing packed down with a lot of gear. You should try out a real ocean kayak. They're a little pricey but they're a lot of fun. I swear by Tahe kayaks. Not made in the US but they're a quality manufacturer that are a little less expensive than some of the other brands.

Allyn: Oh no you dont, I though of it first! Turns the leaf blower on fisherman and blows him out to sea
Allyn: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA My reign of terror is just beginning! Just think what I could do with a battery powered lawn mower! grabs his phone, Hey EGO folks, Im Allyn Hane, The Lawn Care nut, Im sure you know who I am, I want you to send me the newest EGO battery powered lawn mower for free*AHEM I mean testing evil grin.....

Will the lawn care nut make it back off the water before his battery dies?
Will the lawn care nut get his new mower?

It may not propel your kayak very well, but I'm sure it blows grass clippings off of a drive way like a champ!

If you took in water and jetted it out, then you would move much better. Not sure a leaf blower could handle pulling in water or for how long it would work.

Been watching for a couple years now. Got my KS yard looking a lot better than when I first moved it. Don't have a blower though so that'd be a nice thing to win. Keep up the useful/entertaining videos.
