Josh Ogletree ignorance or stupidity are the only two explanations. Ignorance is not knowing any better and doing it. Stupidity is knowing better and choosing not to because you think it has anything to do with swimming ability, fitness or how experienced you are on the water. I can’t think of a good reason not to.

Thanks for the tips! As a second year kayak angler, I need to focus more on using the wind to my advantage. I have learned that I will choose a great spot to fish, but the wind keeps me working to keep my boat is a good position. I spend more time trying to control my yak than I do with a bait in the strike zone. At this point, I am just taking my fishing tackle on a kayaking trip.
