nr3rful by patent pending, I think they mean Sealed Lead Acid battery with a handle. A battery the size they show can't be more than 10 Amp hours. Maybe 15 max if it were lithium ion.

Got a 40 lb thrust trolling motor with a 3 tear weedlees prop. I use a Everstart 12 volt battery with 2 solor panels 1 5 amp and 1 7.5 amp. Don't know the speed but you wouldn't want to turn it to sharp. Run all day in the sun, canopy cover for shade with 2 fishing assist stands 1 in front 1 in back. I have a perception sport 2 seater 2 years old. I've made it into a massive 1 seater with zoom zoom ability. Enjoy what you have make it your own...also with Bluetooth speakers in nose for a rather unique sound. I steer with pulleys on ropes rather than foot control with my hands. I seat like im in a above kayak because of my special seat, that comes out when taking a break along a creek or river.

Good luck...at local Dunham sporting goods they got a sun dolphin canoe with flat stern ready for motor set up..around 500 bucks or less.

Thanks! Same to you. I've always thought that some sort of solar powered sun shade would be great. I'm trying to find the right boat with a flat stern to accommodate a trolling motor. There should be a way to put a motor on a standard kayak stern.

Always SHOW cost. I am working on a trolling motor setup now and I bet it's .20% of what your units cost. If I wanted to spend that kinda cash I would buy a boat!

nice kayak, but why do you call it a "hybrid"? Hybrid usually means there is someother type of power plant, like a gasoline or diesel engine. Don't see that here.

After 'one million dollars' of development!!!! It's plastic with a simplistic electric motor. I bet my friends and I could have produced this for less than 10% of the outlandish sums he talks of? No doubt trying to justify an outrageous retail price.

Im glad he is standing when the water is calm or he would fall over. the dude can barely stand!!! Also those foot pedals will be destroyed after 2 weeks in salt water. I think this kayak is a disposable reusable mess
