My sister and I are only working with 12' kayaks.I think he said his is 16'. We are thinking way different for our first river fishing/camping trip. Still enjoy the video.

Where is the rest of the video lol. Interesting with that huge axe I must say. While filming my last kayaking adventure I realized I should have brought my hatchet along while trying to start a fire after it had been raining all day. That big old axe would be overkill for my purposes though.

I had a laugh when I saw you pull out the large forrest axe and the mountaineering boots :D Rock on brother! Must be quite an adventure if you use theese items so often that you bring them on every outing. Sorry about the seamaster... hope you have more luck with the new movement!

Just wondering, what tent do you use? I'm looking into something ultralight for when I go solo on the via ferrata and can't make my mind.

I can see your consideration with the weight. The performance comparison is a bit off though. A good sharp full size axe will way outperform a small hand saw.

Good video. I canoe and wouldn't consider taking an axe though because of the portages. A small hand saw is just as good and packs great.
