While Hitchhiking from Yellowknife to Calgary, I asked the driver if we could pull over to piss. He had to pee too so he pulled in to a small rest area and there was a roaring river just beyond the toilets. We walked down and THIS waterfall was there. I had the guy take a picture of me standing about 5 feet from the edge and I was scared shitless. Two weeks later, I saw it in a magazine. Thought I'd share, thanks for reading

I also have to agree with everything that tdock 14 is saying. drcwonder, I think you are getting confused! just because it says that it Palouse falls at the top of the video does not mean that it is. If you research both on google images you can see the difference between them.

This is real and this is not the only guy to go off this waterfall. It is Alexandra falls, just look it up on the internet. The words at the top are wrong! Tyler Bradt and Rush Sturges both went off this in a kayak DVD called Source. Tyler Bradt has also just gone off the Palouse Falls which is taller 186 ft. It is on a new Kayak DVD called Dream Result.

Theres been a higher descent of a waterfall by Ben Stookesberry which I think was 140ft (like 38mt) but he was ripped from his boat on the landing which dosnt count for the record apparantly.

Ed's a friend of mine, so i'm not bashing him when i say its not the record. he swam. there is even some kid in oregon that ran bigger but swam. one of our local boys, Tyler Bradt gets the record for running the same drop as you just watched. he stomped it. anyway, big kudos to all those guys for even pealing out of the eddie.
