Zombie yellowfin tuna | Testing out the DIY kayak sail Part 1

Kayak fishing in Kailua Bay Hawaii to test out my DIY kayak sail. https://youtu.be/_PR_WzbgKCs My friend and I head out looking for mackerel scad, opelu in Hawaiian. These live baits are the key to tempting pelagic like mahi mahi, yellowfin tuna and wahoo. I try out the classic live bait drift over the 150-250ft ledge and pull up a zombie looking yellowfin tuna. While trying to figure out what happened to the fish my other live bait gets nailed. Look for part 2 of the trip next week for more pelagic action, I will link it once it is published. Another good vidgit! Weather has been crappy lately. 15-20 mph winds. Do you usually go out in 15mph plus winds?
