Whoa- not sure how to react. Understand you want to save time and become more efficient; that said, I wouldn’t want to have handle that motor so a trailer seems to be in order. Also I didn’t see a FF so add that; thinking you might as well have bought a boat ~~Lol. You’ve got a hybrid + insurance. And yes, I will watch your videos. Question~~ is it single rider only?

Nice rig! I think thresher fishing has same one. I’m a bluesky 360 owner n is pretty hefty itself but easy to haul around. Hoping I can put my machinist skills to use n add a motor to it n maybe hit the water with ya.
(U did mention thresher after watching whole video)

Lol I was waiting for you to get a Torqueedo on your Outback. Your gonna want a trailer. It'll be so much easier. That way you can put another kayak on the trailer too in case you want to take a buddy fishing.

+Mike Bryant he did get a small boat lol. He's now looking at registration fees, maintenance on the motor and having to carry a fire extinguisher. If you carry gas on board in Texas you are required to carry a fire extinguisher.

Nice rig! I often do 10+ miles in a PADDLE kayak, so I hear you. I have noticed my longer trips usually aren't very productive for the reasons you mentioned.

Nice setup Nick take care of that Suzuki flush the salt out after use and only use ethanol free gas . Pull the propeller and lube annually.

+RX Angler Why didn't you look at a trolling motor? They make one that fits in the drive opening with a cassette that is water proof for 249.00 that will run 18 hours on a gel battery? Maybe get that for the Hobie as well and you can use both and not get so tired. Troll motor goes about 8 mph

The Reelist no I remove engine and store inside my truck, takes 5 minutes to remove or less. And no no damage. Most of the damage is gonna be on the water with oysters but nothing bad I just go really skinny.
