I wouldn't with a Jardini m8. The jardinis are the most aggressive of the arowanas.

Great compilation, I have a Panag Gold Arowana who refuses to take any pellets, I tried right from Azoo 9 in 1, Hikari, ARG-1 etc., but it refuses to take none, It lives on Cockroach & chicken heart. Please suggest me some method to convert him to pellet & suggest some food brand, I tried all the possibilities once he starved for almost a month & I gave up by feeding chicken heart. The place where I live I don't get Crickets, mealworms etc., only dried/frozen foods or Live fishes.

My arowana doesn't like pellets too. Only when he was young he ate them. But you don't need pellets per se in order to keep your arowana healthy. My advice is to feed him with prawns, I always use tiger prawns with shell. Just cut off the sharp stings. Very good for colour of the arowana. Futhermore, do you know that cockroch is one of aro's favoriete meal? No wonder he doesn't want pellets

This is a Banjarmarshin Yellow-tail Arowana. Some say it's a Banjar red because he is very colourfull

Tank size is 300x70x70 cm.. Looks huge maybe but with a fish like this I rather had a tank even larger than this
