The 4m- and 7m-Nature Aquarium layouts are currently displayed inside the Tokyo Sky Tree Town. They are, indeed, "living aquascapes" made by well-functioning ecosystem exists inside the aquariums. The creation of the world's largest Nature Aquarium layouts was received as sensational news in the aquarium industry because nobody had ever tried before. Providing proper daily maintenance is essential for the aquascapes which continue inspiring so many people. In this episode, we show regular maintenance activities proceeded by ADA staff and follow up the changes of the layouts from May 9, right after trimming, to August 7, 2012. Please watch how ADA staff take care of their challenging tasks. ■Sumida Nature Aquarium videos Video series, "All About Nature Aquarium" Vol.01→http://youtu.be/5a-vTMhCauA Vol.02→http://youtu.be/FQIPYkQD_Hs Vol.03→http://youtu.be/OpXli4pFqMU Final Episode →http://youtu.be/NP0Qk4DnLis Follow-up videos 25 May 2012→http://youtu.be/lUcerscHj9o

Amano has the best job. He gets to create this amazing, huge, aquascapes..with unlimited resources to get his hands on whatever plants he wants, whatever fishes...

And then he just get's to sit back and watch the beauty while some other poor bastard has to spend 5 hours maintaining the tank.

Great job.

I want to travel to japan and see this country. I am fascinated but japan is very expensive for most of east european people. Beautiful aquariums. I am fun of this hobby for 15 years.

I wish i was a fish in this aquarium instead of being a human. Swimming around so carefree not worrying about anything going wrong.

The tank looks amazing. But I feel like it would be much easier and faster just to take a swim to trim the plants on the bottom. Just my thoughts :D

I'd say glass, as the captions say that they take care not to scratch the "glass" but then again it could BE acrylic and was lost in translation...
