I also think these fish belong in nature, not an aquarium.
Collecting for aquariums doesn't have that much of impact on wild fish and has saved sevral fish from extinction and has protected their habitat from being destoryed by enivormentaly destructive industries like palm oil farming,mining and logging.
You probally even use producs in your day to day that are wiping out wild fish and other wild life.
But I guess it's easier for yo to scapegoat aqurist so you never have face the truth od your enivormentaly destructive ways.
Cause that is what would happen if fish keepers weren't invested in conservation programs like keeping the asain arrowana going.
When have you seen someone do something like put a betta in 3 gallon tank that is heated and has a filter or put a gold fish in a 20 gallon or larger.normal poeple don't cause they view fish as easy to care for throw away pets.while actual fish keepers do.
But I think these small fishes have a low life span

I don't think any normal aquarist will keep shark let alone a whale.
but according to some shark keeper, a baby bull might cost you nearly 10k grand. possibly the most expensive shark?

A nice big flat and nice car and start small scale business instead of buying this fish ...
For example the common goldfish can live 10 to 20 years but rarely lasts a year cause poeple don't know their proper care requirements.
If you're going to be a grammar nazi get your grammar correct.
The reason is cause the income these fish bring are a lot more sustainable for the local poeple then alternative income sources like farming,logging and mining which have a lot of polluation cost and longer lasting effects.
