Welcome to my diy pond build construction project 2017 This video shows of the steps I’ve taken to build construct my diy pond. Wish it was a diy step by step guide but it’s not due to me forgetting to video some of the footage along the way. This is a semi raised pond in my garden. Would have been easier to have a full in-ground pond but have little nieces and nephews who come around quite often there for that was not an option in my situation. It took me almost four months to construct this pond due to doing it after work with the family helping of course. The filtration of this pond is very energy efficient. It’s an airlift design which I learned how to make from a video on here. In the future I will do a video on the filtration itself. The materials I’ve used for this project are as follows; Concrete hollow blocks Reinforcement bars Sharp/soft sand Aggregates 1mm Firestone liner Solvent weld pipe various sizes for filtration and bottom drain Decking boards Paving stone How to build a koi pond step by step How to build a wildlife pond
