But if you can, run chicken wire in the concrete or behind the liner, then a very mild electric current into the wore, it accumulates calcium. This is common in piers and docks today to preserve wood (fossilizes it). A small windmill generator supplies the electric.

NOW A DAYS ERRATIC RAINS ARE CAUSING HAVOC TO FARMERS DUE TO CLIMATE CHANGE.GROUND WATER LEVELS ARE GOING DOWN WHEN THE FARMER IS ACTUALLY IN NEED OF IT TO SAVE HIS CROP.WHAT I FEEL IS ,EVERY FARMER SHOULD CONSTRUCT A POND BY EARMARKING AT LEAST 10% TO 20% OF HIS AVAILABLE LAND FOR FARM POND CONSTRUCTION AND SAVE IT FOR PROTECTING HIS CROP FROM THE UNFORESEEN REQUIREMENTS.ALSO THE POND SHOULD BE SAFEGUARDED AND MAINTAINED IN SUCH A WAY THAT IT SHOULD NEVER DRY-UP.
