a koi should grow between 8 to 10" in one year and in the 2nd year half that so thats a big fish you end up in that pond ive koi what have grown 5 or 6 inchs in one year

hey i think you should switch around that very last piece of the redish colored slate at the end of the water fall so its the more rough edge and not the flat straight edge cause it looks to man made

looking good, just make sure you water the turf alot, because it dries up easily, especially the parts with liner under it, but its all looking great!

Absolutely top notch work, Ross! I'm very impressed with the waterfall, they can be a pain in the rear to set up. Good idea using the liner to help contain it. You also might wan't to raise the part farthest from the edge a bit higher up if possible, it makes for a more dramatic waterfall effect. Again, GREAT work!

ross, in a stream in the upper region of New York, USA i came across a piece of ludwigia, im unaware if your well versed in ludwigi but im having trouble identifying it, please help, i believe theres a posibility its an ovalis but i really dont know, if need be i can send you a picture.

In my 30+ years in making ponds/etc. for a living with my Landscaping company, D & R design, Inc. we found that 99.99 of all leeks were from the added waterfalls, just a little heads up, lol

i love it i have always wanted a pond and i have multiple great ideas for the pond, but my parents wont let me have a pond i don't rely know why maybe it will be to expensive to run under the cold winter here in Sweden. :( it has bin my dream since i was like 4 and now i'm 16

I really liked the idea of the waterfall curving round but I can imagine that was a pretty daunting task. Once it's bulked out with those cobbles It'll look great.

Thanks :) great to hear! one fish is in, irises and other lillys are in and the waterfall is completed now all I need to do is foam it in. I'll put the next vid on in 1-2 days.
