I used to do this with a bunch of minnows in a bucket as a kid. You let them swallow the worm and then pull them up. You don't actually hook them though. It's super fun and the fish don't get hurt.

I understand your point. I don't routinely fish in my fish tank. In fact this was the only time I did such a thing and I did it because I went for weeks fishing in the river and didn't catch any fish so I figured I would make a funny youtube video about how frustrated I was and so I would fish where I knew the fish were! "If your gonna catch fish you gotta go where you know there is fish and I know there are fish here".
