You seem to be trying to make a point with the heater issue. Ever since Catch em put you down and was trashing the way you don't "learn" or do right by the fish or so says he. You both have good channels and help each other when and where ever needed, I hope you both get over this soon and return to the subject at hand. (your tanks and fishing)

I love you guys... but for real make your pool pond a koi pond. You live in a mansion bro you should really make a proper pond. That would be cool for your channel, you making your own in ground pond. Don’t pay anyone to do it but you do it. This will definitely separate you from Catch em all cos you don’t want to be a white version of him.

For the koi, if you do not want them to die. Do not add wild fish as they carry parasites. In the winter as the water gets colder.Koi do not want to eat. A heater is good and helps them to grow better.Also don’t keep the other fish with koi as they will get bullied. I have two koi ponds and have been running for 12 years

No need to put a heater. I bought 50 koi with heater and in one night , 47 koi dead because of the heater . The seller said that mext time you must throw the heater out of your pond.

fishing with Logan bass are a native species and can live in colder temp but a tropical fish needs warm water be cause the come from a hotter climate

The Koi don't need a heater, Yes we know that. The large mouth bass don't need one as there native. THE RED TAIL DOSE, take the redtail out your pond and replace with a cold water catfish like a channel etc. Then yes there's no need for a heater. But any fish that is classed as a tropical fish species NEEDS A HEATER available to keep the water at a temp needed for tropical species.

you see how you named all the fish but the red tail, the reason Zak said you need the heater is for all the tropical fish your going to put in their like the red tail, and also the fish you have growing inside and put in the pond when they are big enough.

I doubt anyone cares about the koi or your native fish. You need a heater for fish like the redtail...and proper filtration for the overall health of your pond. If the tropicals die it will spike nitrate/nitrite and ammonia levels and harm the rest of the fish when the water quality deteriorates. Kudos on making progress on the heating situation.

You can find large mouth bass way up north to Canada. They don't need heater, it's the same for carp. But I think peacock needs it.
