I cant stand catchemall because the way he lies and abuses the shit out of fish but this was a cool pond.. The guy released a betta fish into a lake because he was done filming it and making money off it so it had to go and he couldnt be bothered to give the fish to a kid or even drop it off at the fish store instead lets just throw it to its death in the lake outside my apartment.. The way he talks to women is also disgusting so with that i have to say screw catchemall and his 10 year old fans parents who are to young to see how messed up the shit he does is, teaching them its ok to abuse fish and do whatever you want with them like catch them in a lake then go to a public bathroom and hook them again and throw them in the toilet to pretend you flushed your bait down the toilet and cought a bass never saying its a skit and acting like its 100% legit and not correcting anyone in the comments who swear its real.. Sry long rant but this guy is a legit piece of shit and alot of people are starting to realize it

This pond culture is not good... where you guys are getting all these rocks from... Taking rocks from the wild is dangerous to the ecosystem... You should use custom made baked clay rock ...... To cut out the rocks, the first deforestation is required and the breaking rocks make that area barren and hence destruction... But this may not matters to you but remember you are also living here sooner or later this destruction will destroy you too....

Sorry that's not big enough for koi. Even Zack said this in his video. Kind of looks bad saying it's for koi. When any koi person knows it's way to small. Beautiful and great for small fish though.

Stunning! I would love to have gigantic pond system like that on my under used farm property for the purpose of a conservation station. As far as I know there is nothing like it anywhere in my area. Or anywhere for hundreds of miles.

kuko The Koi will have no problem in this pond. The pond is approx. 1,500 gallons.
The stocking rate will be 10-15 fish that gives each fish a minimum of 100 gallons/fish which is more than enough water for them.

Correct, they wanted to keep the Hibiscus tree and we didn’t have the ability to dig in any other direction because it’s not their property.
Every project has unique situations that need to be dealt with and budgets to work within.....

I can respect that! thanks for the awnser. Again your aquascapes are beautifull! I just think the fish the guy will put in there are way to large for such a pond. (red tail catfish get up to 1.8 (6 feet) and can weigh up to 80kg (180 lb) in the wild).

+Trey Hall all that could have been done if Zak was would.have spent more money probably didn't wanna spend too much look how big bamabass pond was and it cost him 35 thousand so not aquascapes fault Zak was being cheap so it's small

+Joshi XL I'm not so sure about the koi, the bass he put in the pond looked too big and the koi is massive in comparison. I hope they make another pond. The whole point of putting the pacu in the other pool was so they would be seperated from and stop ripping up his other fish. As it stands now the koi (which they destroyed), Shamu (which I'm sure they kill a previous incarnation of), and that poor little sturgeon are stuck in there with brutes again. The red tails, plecos, and peacock bass should be fine though.

The pond is wonderful, however, it was supposed to house monsters. The guys said they wanted to maximize space but used up too much space on rocks and made it way to shallow for Zach's fish like Shamu. I get they had the house and property line to worry about but the could have extended it out and away from the house towards the water. It would also have allowed them to move away from the donut design they went with and made it look more natural. Then there's the fact that it is now a closed system and not drawing water from the lake anymore. Also, wasn't it supposed to run along the front of the porch as well?

Way to go Greg and Team Aquascape, fantastic to see this project and I'm working on reviving my pond which hasn't been used in 15 years just after Christmas here in the UK. Any advice from anyone on Rocks to put inside the pond?

JasonWhiskyWise We try to use native stones as much as possible because of costs but we also need to be conscious of minerals and or other compounds found in the rocks do not cause any problems with the water.
Soft Limestone is usually a problem, granite is a great choice for rocks if it’s available near you?
