What really pisses me off. You so GD succinct, matter of fact..show only fishing posts, and some possible family life with wonderful GF, I'm having a difficult time finding a way to taunt you, a second time. :)

Why do you run his boat? Would he just rather ride?
RobertJi01
RobertJi01 - 2 years ago
It’s actually a cheaper rate with the guide if you run your own boat in my area. Before I sold my boat I would occasionally hire a guide to run it so I could focus more on the fishing aspect with my friends and throw a couple cold ones back while we were out!

AnglerUp with Brant so you got paid on this trip or just a free fishing trip?
AnglerUp with Brant
AnglerUp with Brant - 2 years ago
Reel News OCMD Lots of guides are hired out by people to run their boat. “For hire” trips are extremely common.

great video man! I see that you hooked that cig in the tail. Does that work better than hooking them through the nose?
AnglerUp with Brant
AnglerUp with Brant - 2 years ago
mclanders91 They tend to swim a little more erratically when hooked on the tail. I do it sometimes when the fish aren’t overly aggressive.

Hey Brant - Here along the Texas coast, we used (ie '60's) to hear that scamp never made it to market because the commercial fisherman sold the snappers, ect., and kept the scamp for themselves.
