I think the Googan Squad are over rated. Personally I don't like to see 10-15 minutes of vlogging and 4-6 minutes of fishing.
10 bucks for a pack 7 lures, I don't know.
I'm still happy with my rage tails but I will give these sample lures a shot.
I did tell that kid I'll mention him if I buy them, which I'll buy if they work. Time will tell and that time will be summer time.
People and companies that delete my negative comments are automatically boycotted by me (and anyone else I can pass the word on to!) because if they can't keep the negative comments, than they are only interested in money and not customer satisfaction!
That and that people feel they are just trying to make a quick buck on people who haven’t read into or seen the baits and just see the name.... I support Googan 100% I think their lures are unique and do resemble others ( as others do also) I think they did a great job combining their ideas and experiences into making this lure (sorry for it being so long, and I love your vids found them the other day and hit that subscribe button right away, keep up with recovery and keep up the great vids!)
Can't comment on quality or success, mine just shipped. Looking forward to using them and supporting Googans.

Googans get what googans give...(At this point no fishermen believes them, because they are fool catchers)
They are absolutely "fishy"...not good fishermen.
And they had been such big jerks, if they make a jerk bait I'm sure that will be a worldwide success...
Properly worked, you can catch bass with a piece of sock in a Texas rig.
Bass eats everything...even your plastic duck!! LOL...

As for the hate.......Well all I can say is jealousy is a B. Fist it was “they copied” other baits. Have you been to a Walmart, Bass Pro, or other big fishing store? ALL THE BAITS ARE SIMILAR to each other. Then it was “they are SELL OUTS”........ My Lord boys and girls they are not making trout baits or carp baits ...... Then it’s they are doing it for
“SPONSORS”....... have you seen a Bass tournament lately?????? Toyota, Berkeley, Huk, Hummingbird, Mercury, Minn Kota, Nitro Yamaha etc etc etc.... The Googans are giving other businesses a chance to make some money and advertise. smaller boats, Jon Boats, trolling motors, kayaks, baits, travel, etc. Not every young person can afford a $50,000 bass boat or $300. Rods and reels. Bottom line is these young men are fishermen and business men. They are in the business of teaching bass fishing, making money and entertaining. Good wholesome hard working young men!!!!! Go Googans!!!!

I think your ideas on the Googan Baits is spot on; jealousy mostly, accomplishment, success. These are just some of the reasons for hate.

Here is a video idea; Ask random strangers if they want to go fishing. If they say yes then you have to pick out lures for them to use, and they have to pick out your lures.
As far as Googan baits goes, it's a simple matter of jealousy. They are having success in a relatively short amount of time.
Glad you are back on the water! Take it easy on that recovery out in this heat.
And I think the googan baits and googan squad gets so much hate because they are showing the professionals secret on fishing and the googan squad got all the baits and make one and discovered something that the professional and weekend anglers didn’t discover.

They are giving an outlet to the average Angler and helping them be better Anglers. I will say they need to stick to what has given them success. More fishing vids. Enough with the other vids.
Their plastics are all unoriginal designs, in a flashy package. Designed to catch more fisherman than fish.
The more experience you get the more you'll realize that the most hyped things are often the biggest letdowns.
