You are so wrong to put that fish in a pond. He is a hybrid who will not do well with temp fluctuations. They need temp of atleast 80-84 or his head will be small and wrinkly. Sorry bro but if you at all love fish as I assume you do, you'll take that really nice looking (man-made & ornamental) Flowerhorn out of that pond ASAP and put him in a display tank. Hardy as they are, they're hybrids meant to be kept in aquariums only within strict water parameters if you want to keep them alive, healthy and looking good. He deserves his own tank -- cool as Joey's Frank is, yours is quite a bit higher quality!

Zak, don’t take this the wrong way please, but I often find myself screaming at you to put a fish back under water. I’ve had 8 years in fish and I know they can survive but prolonged limitations of oxygens can cause muscle tensing and spasm. This doesn’t help the fish at all. This is definitely not a hate comment and I love your channel. But please try to keep the fish out of water for as short a time as possible. Like this comment for Zak to see!

Flowehorns need to be kept in 82-86F water temperature just throwing that out there. I don’t see him lasting very long in a outside pond, they also need extremely clean water.They will also try to kill any cichlid type, best kept alone

DOPE! You should get the Flowerhorn his own indoor tank tho, you won't be able to truly admire his beauty and fun personality in the bottom pond. Don't want him to jump out either. Plus, Flowerhorns aren't social at all, so you might have some floating fish with him in there lol
