Driving a manual transmission is like learning how to swim. Everyone should learn how to do it.
I didn't get any lessons. I was handed the keys and off I went. I did have prior knowledge from years of riding dirtbikes even though it's the opposite. You shift with your foot and clutch with your hand. I still understood the concept of clutching and shifting when getting in a car.

That moment when you broke the rod, I feel for you there. In 2017 I snapped my collapsing trout rod clean in half and lost a lure because I was fishing a very soft sandy area and had my spinner in a bush and was pulling back when the sand gave way but I went back and got my old blue rod and tied a small trout jig on and ended up catching the fattest trout I have seen to date, It weighed 2.5 pounds and was 17 inches, Try picturing that in your head! Just goes to show that a broken rod doesn't mean a bad day of fishing.

Yeah, I've been noticing that he hasn't been calling out the model or manufacturer of the reels that he is using much lately. He often refers to them simply as "a baitcast reel" when he talks about what he is using. I wonder if it has something to do with his contract with favorite fishing.

for me I love the google maps videos because its something I can relate too. I currently don't own a boat so all I get to do currently is bank fish. I was always going to the same spots till I seen your first google maps challenge video and immediately opened maps and fished. Idk if everyone feels that way but that's why I enjoy them for me its something I relate too
