you sir are not a good fish keeper that gar will grow to ten foot long and the arowana will be atleast 2.5 foot long. you need a 300 gallon tank for the arowana with no decor. and you will need a 5000 gallon tank for the gar. look up your fish man.

Everybody makes mistankes in the start of this hobby. Years ago i lost a Silver to a redtail to. To got build a 5000 gallon pond to house the fish you have as a baby now. The redtails is gjetting to get very big and Will eat everything that fitt in the mouth. And the alligator gar Was Just a mistanke. Its going to get enourmus!!! And if your gjetting a 10 gallon to Silver arowana. Its better to Just buy a big one

It's cool, if you're starting to get into the hobby of "fish keeping". But you should definitely step up your knowledge on tank compatibility and care. Shop at local fish store/mom and pops, I'm pretty sure they'll be able to help you out. All in all, it's just my opinion brother, do you!

You should get another tank for both of the catfishes. Even baby arowanas need a big tank because of how constantly active they are. If you put the catfish in another tank instead of the arowana, you will be giving the arowana enough space for now and the catfishes will not be able to eat the arowana. I suggest putting both of the catfish in there because both are extremely aggressive feeders and will both have a chance at killing the arowana. P.s. The redtail will not die, it will be just fine. This happens all the time.

Be careful feeding them the still frozen cubes of BloodWorms. You're actually supposed to thaw them out in water and then put them in. Still frozen can cause Organ damage and issues to baby fish. Learned that with my puffer.

my red tail ate one of my fish that was over half his size they had live together for almost a year.(the tank is 150 gallons) the red tail is about a foot long just imagine what yours looked like but bigger. i was mad at that fish and wanted to sell him for a while because the one he ate cost 30 dollars pretty expensive loss for both of us. sorry for the loss

You and other fishing youtubers need to learn to take care of fish tanks. First, Paul Cuffaro “upgrades a betta to a 1.5 gallon tank. You were going to put an arowana in a ten gallon tank when they need at least a 100 gallon. You don’t cycle your tanks, I don’t know how any of your fish are alive still. Don’t make animals suffer for the views. I don’t want to be mean, and I’m genuinely sorry for your loss. Please research a bit more, you’re a human so you make mistakes. Just try to learn from the mistakes that you have made.

I don’t understand why you didn’t buy the tank when you bought the arowana? You even said you fed the Gar a lot so he wouldn’t attack your arowana which means you knew the arowana was to small and in danger. It doesn’t make much sense at all.

Red tails are savages. My uncle had one with some parrot cichlids and some ID sharks. Once it got big enough they all went one by one. Until it was only him, lol. Only get one if you have a pond or like a 600 gal lol

Im letting u know now, anything that can fit in the redtails mouth, will get eaten. U can kinda stop it by keeping him full, but they still are very very greedy fish. Ik this from experience. I grew my redtail out for 5 almost 6 years and over 2 feet aka (tank) from catch em all. They are very greedy fish

Mikael Bessiron its not about how big they get, its more about how small u get them and put them together. Because my rtc learned his tank mates arent food. But as soon as i put a new fish in there that could fit in his mouth, he ate it. But my other Oscar that was in there from the beginning with him, and could fit in his mouth didn’t get eaten.
