I flew to Texas with one mission in mind, to search for and catch a giant alligator gar with LakeForkGuy. We have been planning this trip for years and finally, we got to execute it. Alligator gar are the freshwater sharks in Texas rivers and lakes. These fish can reach up to 300lbs and can grow over 8ft in length. Alligator gar are a true river monster in North America. ▼ LakeForkGuy social media & YouTube: • Subscribe to LakeForkGuy → http://bit.ly/lakeforkguy-subscribe • Follow Justin on Instagram → @lakeforkguy • Follow Justin on Snapchat → @lakeforkguy • Follow Justin on Twitter → http://bit.ly/lakeforkguy-twitter • Like LakeForkGuy on Facebook → http://bit.ly/lakeforkguy-FB ▼ Hayden Decker social media & YouTube: • Subscribe to LakeForkGuy → http://bit.ly/hayden-decker-subscribe • Follow Justin on Instagram → @hdecker01 ► Book a Alligator Gar Fishing adventure with Sawgrass Outfitters: http://bit.ly/sawgrass-outfitters ▼ To learn more about the species of fish caught in this video, click the links below: • Alligator Gar → http://bit.ly/alligator-gar-info ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ABOUT BLACKTIPH ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ BlacktipH Fishing brings you some of the most exciting fishing videos on the web. we make a loop small 1/2" in size with about 3' of wire then feed the wire threw the mouth of bait and poke it out the tail then feed the wire threw the loop and then bend like a hard Z shape and the 1/2" loop hangs in the Z then tie end of wire to sturdy swivel then to main line and we use large float and then when to float starts trucking along you pull hard cinching up the noose around the upper jaw FISH ON
Thank yoooooou
what is the name of the river
lad that Bich go
And engine?
that said its the lower trinity.
but it's worth it once you get one
The one taken by bow was 8 ft 2.5 in long and 67 in in girth. using the generic calculation of length times the square of the girth divided by 800, that tapes out to 552.7 lb. They bottomed out a a 300 lb scale with a third of the fish on the ground.
Back in the sixties we kept getting No. 54 trot line cord broken there.
