Hey gollum , I mean Tim, you gotta defrost him first! No really, bear grills ate a raw trout on camera but it was a small wild fish and I think the skin is more fragile than the larger stockies. He also twisted the fish so that the flesh popped out of the skin. Would be good with some wasabi and soy sauce

Depends what you want, for like $30-50 for a combo you can throw just about everything but they’re obviously not sensitive and have a really slow action, depends on the fisherman and what they want out of a rod, I really don’t like the ultra lite version though. Has absolutely no back bone to set the hook or fight a fish at all
