I agree with you D-Request it's a matter of choice as a adult myself we as individuals have to choose rather we want to involve ourself in a situation or not if you see it's something minor and can be stopped go ahead and defuse the bomb before it explodes why be a bystander and sit back and wait for something to happen that could be prevented now dont get me wrong im not saying be a hero or a zulu nation memer cause you never know what a person reaction may be so again just think n observe

I remember on a beach in Thailand a few years ago I watched a guy getting the shit beat out of him by a local with a wooden plank. I was sitting on a bench outside a bar just up from the beach and he forced him all the way up the path towards me, where he fell over and continued getting hit, his "friends" watched the whole time. All it took was for me to stand up and pull the Thai dude back and he stopped immediately. I was surprised I'd stepped in. I think the fact that I was drunk helped.

I disagree as seeing them as equals. See, the person who takes out their camera to record the event is getting some sort of thrill from the violence, they also know others will get a thrill by watching their video, they may possibly even have intentions to make money from it. That to me is clear exploitation. To me, saying they are equal to a person who watches as a bystander isn't right, don't get me wrong, bystanding is in no way the right thing, but it's the lesser of two evils in this case.
