Very nice. KISS system. I've been Thinking of upgrading my bio cube with a Red Sea E 260. I just really feel comfortable with the AIO set up. But a 120 is so appealing

Nice vid. Can you tell me more about your filtration system? Do you run a skimmer? And what is in your media basket? Any reactors?

Sorry for all the Qs, I just got my Fusion 20 delivered a few minutes ago. I think I plan to just use the filter socks, and the Tunze skimmer I got and I plan to get 1 or max 2 fish; something stunning and in your face, like a Royal Gramma/Royal Dottyback or a Pink Streaked Wrasse.

Getting a reef tank mainly for the sessile invertebrates, instead of the fish, for me.

I have a 33 gallon planted tank and I am not done stocking it. I like FW fish because I can get a community or schooling fish as they evolved in small/cramped spaces like rivers and tributaries and are better suited to live with each other. SW fish need so much space, (well, they are from the ocean). Also, it seems that from their description on Liveaquaria, mostly, they are all kinda mean. LOL.

With that bio load, i dont think you need a skimmer at all. All I use are the IM filter socks, an auto top off and water changes. Change 5 gallons a week, dont overfeed, and it should be perfect.

If your goal is to keep a nice looking reef and growth isn't important to you lowering your temp will help, this lowers evaporation making your ATO reservoir las full longer and also lowers your inhabitant's metabolism which means they produce less ammonia and so that translates to less frecuent water changes.

Some people keep large 300gallon sps systems at temps as low as 70-72 and have no problems except lower growth rates

I had a 10 gallon tank, a hob filter, 2 small 3-led led light, live rock and sand, clownfish and I did not touch the tank for a year. Other than feeding of course. Nothing bad happened. I upgraded to a 29 gallon because it was laying around. Plan on going to a 75g

A heater, a MJ1200 pump, a filter sock, and my auto top off sensor.
