10 gallon nuvo aquarium that i started on december 2015, added sps February, and its been going since then. Live stock: pair Black Ice Clowns, Atlantic Pygmy Angelfish, Tail Spot Blenny, Helfrichi Firefish inverts: porcelain crab, acro crabs, red/blue leg crabs, 1 nassarious snail, Blue tuxedo Urchin coral softies: assorted zoa Lps: purple w/ green tip torch, green wall/branching hammer, Favia, Duncun Sps: red monti, green/blue diamond stag, purple/rainbow stylo, green/pink birdsnest, wild acro/mili, mr. Pacman, rainbow nasuta, purple passion, cali tort, rainbow crayola, lime in the sky, strawberry fields, chips acro, shades of fall, aussie colony Equipment: 10 gallon nuvo fusion, mp10 qd, eheim 350 surface skimmer, media rack w/ filter pad/live rock, minimax reactor w/ carbon/gfo, reefglass nano skimmer, 25w heater, ai prime hd. Do you run all colors at your settings you posted or run mainly blues? They seem low from what I've seen others posting running blues at 100% with uv. Love the tank props on keeping it looking so clean.

Very nice setting! How much live rock are you using? I have the exact same tank running for a little less than two years and I'm starting to think my LFS made me buy way more live rocks than I need.

I just looked up the dimensions for this. No way it can hold 10 gallons. Seems like I could fill it with a 5 gallon bucket. I was looking hard at getting one, but not if the company is lying about the gallons

That's what I was thinking. 7-7.5 gallons swimming space. Still nice looking tank, but now I'm looking at the 20 gallon version and debating between the two.

well the aquariums will never truly hold the stated amount of water. you would have to factor in the inch of space at the top not holding water all the way around, the overflow section and the return section, plus the amount of live rock being used all taking up space. i would say i have about 7 gallons of available water in here. but i don t really know.

Kurt Scoville I've upgraded tank, i no longer have this one but i max primes out at 87% gradually increasing intensity by 1% every couple of days

Did you have any issues with your pygmy angel picking at the coral? Any aggression towards the clowns?

i do sometimes, not all the time because of laziness. but parameters dont change really stays same as im pretty consistant with water changes

Hi Erik..., great little tank and really like ur whole setup. I was trying to think of another fish for my Evo 12.., but after seeing ur beautiful Atlantic Pygmy Angel.., I know what I'm getting. I think it will be fine with my two Percula Clowns and Yellow Goby. Any tips or special care for the angel you can tell me? Ty

Why do you need a surface skimmer when your tank has an overflow? I just point my nozzle towards the surface so that I can get rid of that scum.

Yeah that's too much work honestly. Also, it's less stable (salinity wise) to be doing it manually.

Reefer Nanoman no i dont but i refill evaporated water 3 times a day. or my wife does. i do plan on getting one its a bit tedious continually doing so. i really just need a better return nozzle like the ones on solana aquariums but for nano size. maybe when theres more money

thats what i did too but for some reason film collects at that one spot so i put in a surface skimmer in the mean time until i figure out another solution

Nice setup man, its amazing how u can grow sps in a small tank like that. How u control the nitrates and phosphates? And what is the name of u pigmeu angelfish?

well its not easy, but consistency is key, i do weekly water changes religiously, have a skimmer and reactor in there, ro water goes in there in the same temperature, light feeding, good flow and lighting. and above all is patience. it wasnt always this beautiful. and its a cherub pygmy angelfish

I have so many SPS in my fusion 10G, that just water changes aren't enough to keep up with Alk, so I have to dose 2part from ESV (automatically with a doser).
