My 40 Gallon Breeder at 4 months. This was filmed 2 months prior to the day this was posted. So far (currently still at 6 months), going smoothly, fighting a war with algae, which isn't too bad, it's under control, and not specifically making trouble for any of the corals. Song [which I do NOT own] is Without Limits - Ross Budgen Go follow his channel for this and other awesome soundtracks! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQKGLOK2FqmVgVwYferltKQ
The only thing issue you might find with these lights is lighting up the corals in the far right and left sides of the tank, but only with SPS corals and LPS corals... i have zoas and other softies in the sides which get more than enough light. So just keep your lps and sps corals more towards the middle, right under the light and keep more softies on the sides. The OC T-247 is a great light for it's price. Easy to use and program, doesn't make a sound, good spectrum and amazing light spread (Pushing 3x3 spread, unlike most with 2x2). Definitely go with this if you're on a budged and don't wanna spend crazy money on lights. Will light up everything up.
I actually plan to upgrade my tank into a 120g or an 80g in the summer. I was thinking of going with the Radion XR30s... but they are like a 900$ each. So i might pass on that and get another one or two OC t247 (depends if i get a 48" or 60" foot tank)
