46 gallon bow front reef tank. 36.5"L x 16.38"W x 20.88" H. I'm running a Fluval 305 Canister filter system, a Prizim Pro Deluxe Skimmer, GLO T5HO light system, 1Hydor 115-60hz pump, 2 Mini-Jet 606 pumps, and about 60lbs of live rock. 1Coral Beauty Angelfish, 1 Yellow Tang, 1Maroon Clownfish, and 1 Blue Damselfish. 1 Cleaner shrimp, 1 Fire shrimp, 1 Emerald green crab, lots of hermit crabs, 4 Turbo Snails, 5 Nassarius snails, and a bristle star. Purple Colony Polyp, Yellow Colony Polyp, Green Starburst Polyp, Button Polyp, Red, Blue, and Green Striped Mushroom coral's, Colt Coral, Open Brain Coral, Brain Coral, Frogspawn Coral, Sun Coral, 3 Dwarf Colored Feather Duster's, and 1Reef Anemone.

do you ever have any problems with the coral beauty eating your polyps? if you used to because it clearly isn't eatting them, then how did you get it to stop because i wan't one but i keep hearing that they will eat polyps

I have a fluval 305 on my 46 bow also. Is it nessesary to use a protein skimmer as well or can you manage just using the Fluval

hows your prizm skimmer working? mine is kinda stop working after 2 weeks, i mean the pump still pumping but it just not strong enough or something.

Does this tank have canister filter or wet dry setup. Because I have 46 bow with Africans and thinking of doing saltwater but that size tank does not come reef ready and was told not to drill holes in bottom.

What do you use for substrate? I have crushed coral in my 29 gallon, but it never seems to stay clean very long. I am upgrading to a 55 gallon.

do u think my tang could hold off on a new tank for about a year by then i will have upgraded to a 100 gallon my tang seems to be dong fine no illnesses or anything a little territorial but not to bad

Hi, nice tank- I am considering getting a fluval 305 for my 55 gallon tank- how hard is it to set up and maintain? I'm running a regular whisper 60 fitler now and its easy to keep up but I know the canisters are much better...
