90 gal. Reef Tank Stand Build (part 1)

I'm building a stand for my 90 gal reef tank. This video outlines the approach I took to build the frame and tools that I used. I hope this is helpful if you are thinking about building a stand for yourself. I will have a follow-on video that will outline how I skin the stand with plywood and all the finishing touches.
You should have uprights of at least 2 x 4 's going up for the end horizontals to sit on so the weight can be supported and transferred down to the floor. You really should have center supports, or 2 x 8's as you have over a 3 foot span with no support.
Think about it. Building code has you putting supports every 16 inches. You may get by OK.
But I'd rather be safe and not risk my tank, fish, floor, carpet, and whatever is under the floor the tank is sitting on.

This is definitely not my professional field, so I built my stand based on various videos on the subject. Lumber is generally inexpensive and weight wasn't really a concern, so I guess you can chalk it up to overkill.
