It's only been running for 7 months. So did he just buy a lot of fully grown corals and shove them in there? Is it even possible for it to still be viable after a few years? They are going to grow rapidly if lighting and parameters are well. Has it crashed yet?

Personal experience.. These corals can grow faster than what we expect with constant and good perimeters! A near future issue might be a fixed and insufficient size in room for growing these :(

Wow, that tank is amazing. What are the basic rules for putting corals so close together. I realise it is trial and error but any tips on where to start? e.g. what common corals can go next to each other.
