That is an absolutely beautify tank! I can't help but wonder how much money was spent to have it looking like that in 7 mo. Mine is over a year old and I put 20 to 30 dollar frags in it to watch them grow into a tank like this. I can't imagine how much the bigger corals costs. This had to have been in the thousands of dollar range!

Agreed..not all of us have fuggin 10k to spend on reefing..as an aside what's with the style of jamming every fuggin nook and cranny with a coral? I prefer more natural open look

IMO there's no fun in buying all your large coral colonies and all your fish at once... I don't have a saltwater tank but if I did I certainly would start small and grow my tank up, even if I had more than enough money to get it all done at once.

+Chad Stambaugh i wonder if the thought of upgrading throughout the hobby has entered anyones minds..he could have had those colonies of sps and lps for 5 years, kept transferring to bigger tanks as time went on and eventually has this setup in this video.

+Andrew Hales Yeah I was very surprised when he said 7 mo. Thats easily 10-15k in coral and fish, not even considering hardware costs. I guess if you've got $20k budgeted for just a reef tank, this is what you can do with it. With those large colonies you'd have to buy them large which sometimes get pricey very quick. At 7 mo you're not going to be growing anything like that from $20 frags lol.
