Any word if Than’s new building going to be open to the public as a retail location?, I know right now it’s by appointment only. I only live about 15-20 minuets away from tidal gardens but never been there. I downsized to a 35 cube which is moderately stocked from corals i kept or fragged from my 125, so I don’t have a ton of room, I guess I would feel bad if I made an appointment and only bought one or two things, I wouldn’t want to feel as if I wasted his time. Looked like a fun road trip.

I have to comment on this...why do you think carbon dosing is Un natural. Our systems are all lacking carbon.by adding it we are utilizing the most abundant thing on this planet to do a job . bacteria is the only reason we can keep these tanks in the first place. By adding carbon we are actually more balanced with nature than not. Great video otherwise.

When I have another live stream by all means hop on and discuss this topic with your tank.. there are many ways to do it in this hobby so sharing your experience would help some that may want to carbon dose. I didn't see any videos or documenting of your tank on your channel. Id love to see the results personally... Look forward to you joining a live stream or uploading a video soon. To make a statement is one thing.. but to show your results is another. Ricos tank speaks for itself.. Allow yours to do the same

Didn't want to blast it on public but I don't know how to private message you..I had to bring it up because this isn't the first time you made that comment..it is far less maintenance than the current trends with the scrubers and reactors you guys are messing with and the results speak for them selves.. I don't use it for nutrient control anymore but I do dose 20ml of viniger in my 200 gallon daily. I used it for 9 years as the only nutrient export now I don't even use a skimmer.

Honestly didn't have time to really go deeper into the subject.. but to a degree I do agree with you.. red field ratio also includes carbon for a reason.. and we need it to truly balance our systems.. My point was mainly directed at people blindly relying on Carbon dosing, bio pellets, Vodka.. as a way to cover their own filtration deficiency.. the people that miss the basic idea of bio load vs - surface area and filtration and keeping your system within its natural limits... As you can imagine this subject needs a video on its own.. I plan to make one soon. until then.. thanks for watching and commenting :)

I have a jbj 45, and I've been thinking of a way to do the Triton Method with it, like chaining algea reactors together to get the refugium size up to par. BRS seems to be getting awesome results doing the Triton Method.

Even if you dont have high demand running a CA reactor with a stream is the best way.. If dont have high demand you just run it with the ph higher, drip method just clog at one point or another

What I liked most about these videos is just seeing people in the community get together and enjoy the hobby together. I got a taste of that last year when I went to my first MACNA. Even saw Rico there. I do want to visit Tidal gardens. Ohio isn't far from Buffalo just gotta talk wifey into it cuz I will need supervision with all those corals around.
