Nice tank! I have a question: Can I have 2 occellaris clowns, with a royal gramma, a cardinal and a cleaner shrimp with a clean up crew in a 29 or would that be a little to much??

You should be totally fine with all of those guys, those are relatively smaller species and I have kept that many fish inside of a 29 biocube, just be sure to keep up with your water changes and you will be fine, clean up crews generally dont count for "stocking" in a reef aquarium, you can put as many shrimp, crabs, snails as you want in there, generally the more cleaners the better.

Very nice setup man. I'm pretty sure that green montipora is a brain. After my experiences with xenia and kenya tree, I'm not gonna be using those again. They spawn too much. Love the rest of the selection of corals. I'm hoping to get a biocube or something soon so I can get back into the hobby.

Thanks for the clarification. I will never keep xenia of kenyas in my reef again after what it did to my original biocube, it mad me so mad. For sure get back into the hobby its too much fun.

Great tank. Looks nice and natural. With xenia, I've seen people place it on a rock surrounded by sand like a little xenia island. That way, they're trapped and won't spread. ((Mostly commenting in case someone else has that problem sice this vid is like a year old lol))

Avy Aulonocara thanks i did wind up replacing the rocks because some of the xenia actually detatched and spread to the other rocks it was a mess but its all good now

I also made the mistake of putting Xenia on rock, they grow like weeds! Fortunately they are one of my favorites, so it doesn't actually bother me (as of right now). If you want to remove it, you can easily just cut off the base of the Xenia from the rock, it's safe don't worry! When you cut it off if you want you can probably get a tooth pick and maybe scrap off the extra on the rock to make sure they don't start sprouting again. Once you cut it off you can just move it wherever you originally wanted. (-:

Awesome tank. Love all the coral, but especially the Metallic Green Brain, and the Feather duster. Beautiful tank. The fish, shrimp, snails, and crabs are so cool.

Hey, awesome tank! I've been thinking of starting a reef tank for some time now. This 29 gallon tank fits perfectly in my space. I basically just want to have corals in there, but I'm not sure where to start looking in terms of forums/ where to buy coral. Any suggestions?

Awesome and thank you in terms of coral you are going to have to find some local fish stores that sell them or you can order online at liveaquaria.com but its more expensive for forums go to thereeftank or reef central
