Controlling temperature in a reef tank.

One cooooooool video. Summers on the way (unless you live in Australia), but don't panic if your tank gets a bit to hot!!!!. As long as you have no sudden temperature changes when doing a water change, or adding to corals to your tank, any slow rise through out the day of 3f (1.5,c) is O.K. Many of the corals we keep in our tanks come from different parts of the world, so are used to different temperatures. Whilst many can live in cooler temperatures than they are used to, those that like the cooler water below 82.f (28,c), can't live in warmer waters above 82.f.
I have loads of vids on setting up a tank, sorry more reading.
79 is perfect.
5 gallons sound a lot to be losing in a week. My 100 loses 2 gallons. Try a bit less water movement on the surface, not that it really matters how much water you lose, it you have an auto top off.
