I have my biopellet reactor setup the same way as yours and have the issue similar to others with back siphoning when the pump is shut off without turning off the reactors ball valve. I am considering a manifold but my concern is that every time I shut off the main pump, the biopellets will get sucked up the tube and possibly lodge in the plumbing elbows. Does this still happen or is it decreased since the manifold is higher than the reactor? Thanks for the informative vids.

I dont have any issues with siphoning with the manifold.

Hi, what thickness of PVC did you use? 25mm?

Nice work! Manifolds def are the way to go.. Plugs are always at a premium on a reef tank.. U ever have concerns of return pump filtering the same water over and over?

+CJ'S AQUARIUMS Not really and if it does return some of the water i wouldn't think it would impact anything.
