Why spend a lot of money when you can get good water flow in your reef tank for cheap? Here I show you a DIY Borneman Surge Device on my 70 gallon reef tank. For more info google Borneman Surge Device. It does take some skill and patience to get this type of device working. However, once I worked out the issues on this unit it began working flawlessly. In fact, I haven't messed with it one time in 6 months. It flat out just works. The frequency and strength of the wave can be manipulated by changing the container size and type of pump. Cheers.

Nice installation, try adding a timer to your surge pump so you'll have a wave maker and surg device.

the funny thing is that the voice wasn't intentional. in the first few videos i did the audio was distorted for some reason. i suppose if everyone hates it i can take it down.
