I bought it korallin calcium reactor with a co2 tank, and was told to get a controller to check my ph.. can I use this product for my korallin calcium reactor with co2? to check my ph for it?

+Jorge Torres The SLX actually replaced the SL1, but you can definitely use an SL1 as well!

+Jorge Torres Yup, you can but you will need to buy the SLX Module and a pH probe in order to enable pH compatibility.

A shame I liked mine and had it set to turn some fans under the cabinet on my 180 reef and control 2 heaters. Today I heard the fans come on and knew something was not right. "error" was showing and said the tank was 93! Luckily an old glass floating thermometer in the sump showed all was well 78. But mine lasted not even 3 years? Not sure if it is only the thermometer probe but certainly do not want to replace if the outlet strip is bad or the readout controller module is bad. The modular telephone connections are not a good design with the salt water. The temp probe always had the wires loose looking coming out of the connector.

I am surprised you made a video on the reef-keeper. When I bought the ALC for my Kessils from Bulk Reef the tech told me you don't support this product. Luckily he did allow me to return the unit for the Kessil light controller.
DA is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. THEY DO NOT return emails or even their phone.
STAY AWAY from this controller. Apex may be better, unfortunately when I bought my Reefkeeper this wasn't available.

+Kiger Stang The beauty of the Reefkeeper system is that it is a budget friendly option to help safe guard and control your aquarium. It is one of the easier controllers to program, however it won't be able to do advanced network and internet functionality like some other options. We have a few people here in the office that use ReefKeepers and love them for their ease of use :)

Ive read a lot of complaints with this unit compared with the Neptune's apex lite. Do you think neptune lite is a better investment as functionality and quality of product?

A customer was kind enough to point out I made a mistake at the end of the video. I mentioned you can program the unit with the net modal and my reef V2. That is incorrect, you currently have to connect the reefkeeper or modules directly to your PC with the included USB adapter (SID 2)
