good video but that's the technique i use when I bought a ready made tank. Before you put the last side of glass in maybe you should have siliconed the baffles in then put the last piece of glass to finish the tank. It's easier that way I found. Just a little tip for you to try next time you make a sump.

Caesar Kraft Windex is safer. The chemical in it is just vinegar which you can drink. It is just dye that is toxic

I wish builders of display tanks would also use masking tape. Instead most "professionally built" aquariums on the market have those sloppy silicone joints.

I'm contemplating building a sump out of glass myself. How thick is the glass? 1/2"? Did you pick the glass up at a glass automotive shop?

The thickness is 8mm, but also could be 6mm with no problem, yes you need a glass shop definitely to make the size you want
