There is a ton of amazing nano life that will perfectly fit the scale of a small aquarium. All you really need is a small tank, a heater, sand, rock and some starter bacteria. If budget allows i would highly suggest an all in one tank as it allows you to hide your equipment and have a very clean look but its not required. On a small tank a weekly water change is all you need for maintenance to have a happy healthy thriving reef tank! In a future episode I will go into maintenance on your tank as well as feeding, topping off for evaporation and preforming a small water change. Ugh. id really like to add High-Fin goby myself! Think you just pushed me over the edge. But then Ill need a pistol shrimp and god knows what ill start to buy.

Oh and my LFS just got a black clown goby in which is EXTREMELY rare. torn between that and high-fin goby...

Itd be wrong not to get a pistoll shrimp lol. Honestly when I had my other pistoll shrimp it had a personality, the little blind creature wandering around when it smelled food and snapping at hermit crabs when it got too lose to then den.

Is the Pygmi gobee reef safe ? If they are anything like the small clown/yellow gobee then in my opinion they are not . Those little buggers killed my established Midas blenny and nibbled on corals here and there

what do you do about the protein film that is on the water surface?? without an overflow that tends to develop!
