hey I was thinking about trying this as a fowlr tank with just one small fish. would this tank be easy to keep up with if i did weekly water changes and stay onto of water parameters? thank you!

yes, I kept one fish in here as long as its a small one and one that doesn't require a lot of space.

why would you rinse live sand? you just washed down drain the "live" part

so lottle sand it didnt make a difference, plus I think the sand was already some stuff I had left over and was dried out.

Did you really wash your live rock and live sand in freshwater? That would pretty much kill off most of the beneficial bacteria.

+TheAughoti The sand I had sitting in my tool shed for awhile so it was pretty dead to start with. As for the rock it was pretty clean and I wouldnt call it real live rock.

+dingo2031 The GSP in the 10 gal are not glued. I have two different types of gsp. The one on the top of the rock came growing on a small piece of rock about the size of a lipstick. I just let it sit there and it started to grow out onto the larger rock. The branching one I started with two pieces that I just tucked into a small opening and off they went growing. I cut a small piece of that and put it on the rock on the left side. It's already starting to grow onto the rock. It tends to grow on a rock and then starts branching out. Plan on cutting a few and putting them in the pico soon.

Get a tunze nano ATO I have one on my 12g frag/shallow reef its amazing might toss kalkwasser cant wait to see this grow! Question with the GSP in ur 10g did u glue it to tonga or it just grew like that?

Do you treat your water before adding salt??

+Tom Kershaw I do not treat the water with anything. I do use RO/DI water that I get from either the local fish shop or a water shop. DO NOT use water from your tap in a saltwater tank. There are additives and other minerals in the drinking water that will cause problems in a salt tank.

Nice video, it's 2.6 gallons btw but not a big difference. Would definitely upgrade the lights to the deep blue solar flare 15w on Amazon. Also I would attach one of those TOM aquarium canister filters. I am planning for one of these tanks since I could use a frag tank. But yeah, as I said before nice video. Keep the videos Rollin'.
