Nice update Mike, but the brown substrate is diatoms from your new rocks doing a cycle. don't forget to make little frags of your new corals for frag island! ;)

Sorry to hear Alex and glad to hear as well that you were able to catch it as well...hopefully things will bounce back....personally i would’nt change the lights spectrum even when you are making vids or live streams instead i would suggest using orange filter on your camera...we talked abt this the other day on Paul’s chat...

Not sure why everyone panics over a little cyano, algae on glass, diatoms, etc. corals come and go, establish locations in tanks. My sailfin loves when I scrape algae from glass, gorges himself. Corals establish their territories. The more we mimic and allow tanks to be natural with most varieties of all fish, corals and critters the more nature takes hold and stability is fixed and established.

How long did you have the wrong lighting? Let’s think about nature here. Storms, cloudy skies, sediment stirred up. A few days of changed lighting spectrum shouldn’t permanently affect things much.

Bugga me mate! You've got to keep your wife happy. We all make mistakes, the important thing is to learn from them. I'm glad my wife isn't a glass box tho, with all the mistakes I've made over the years she would have gotten rid of my wr-ass-e by now. Really nice and don't worry things happens. I got a question, did you ever battle a Cyano outbreak?, if so, What did you do to get rid of it? I got a mayor problem, I don't have a RoDi unit. Because I don't have the space for a water change station. I live in an apartment and my tank is 90 gal with a 20gal sump. Around 105 gal of water.

Aarons Aquarium from dusk to down about around 10 hour's. But a pick time of 4 hours. Beside my lights aren't high end it's just a Current Marine LED full blast and a actinic blue t8 with 6 blue LED'S from my previous JBJ BioCube 28 canopy.

Aarons Aquarium I don't have a kit to measure tap water. But in my refugium I grow green grapes caulerpa like crazy, I also have Miracle Mud. A protein skimmer is a little under rated for the tank, but I think It do his work, and a UV just for water clarity.
