If im doing a fish only tank, does this mean i dont have to use the supplements?

But if im only doing a fowlr tank, do i still have to dose calcium? As far as i know fishes do not consume calcium. Im just really curious right now..

Rafael Benaya Sarmanella - As far as I know supplementation of expended minerals and chemicals that maintain pH, calcium, hardness, and aid stabilization of the salinity are necessary for all tanks whether they contain corals or not. Invertebrates also take up supplements and they live in the the live rock whether you can see them or not, I.e. tube worms, sponges, etc.

That's the reason you must test your water on a regular basis using quality test kits for pH, calcium, hardness, salinity, etc. to maintain the ideal conditions for your tank. Happy reefing...
