http://goo.gl/vLGu2C About 8 months ago, the awesome folks over at CAD Lights donated a 70 gallon Artisan aquarium for the Marine Depot customer support team to set up and maintain here at our corporate headquarters in Garden Grove, CA. Since then our support team has put together and grown a beautiful reef aquarium. Today we will show you some of the awesome features of these very contemporary CAD Lights Artisan tanks and take you on a personalized tour of our own 70 gallon Artisan aquarium. We created a full tank profile with a list of equipment and livestock in the Featured Tank section of our website if you want to dig deeper and find out what's been working for us! Can I change out this sump for my ruby36s sump ? It’s a two drain sump so I would like to use both of them. I see the main tube but unsure of where that other green tube goes in first stage ?

You also mentioned that the tank is only 5 days old. When setting up a new tank it is very important to cycle it before adding fish in. This means that you are growing the bacteria in the tank that will be able to break down the fishes waste and keep your ecosystem running. Without the beneficial bacteria that cycling will grow, waste will break down into ammonia which is highly toxic to your fish and will often get them sick or even kill them. If you want to learn a bit more about cycling check out the link below.

In general, 70 gallons will give you plenty of options when it comes to freshwater fish. I would recommend going to a local fish store and giving the staff the tank specifications to try to get a better idea of what can be stocked.

btw I just looked at the tank's product page and for $1300~ the price is right. However the sump design looks a bit weird? can you order it without the sump?
I ordered the Versa 42 from you guys. Can't wait to set it up. Let me know. Thanks!
