David that pump is an apump right, but they come with an European plug or they have for USA too

heaps of bubbles go into the tank and all my corals let off like a slim coat. i have also found that my skimmer pulls even more crap out too

With the wood air stone in your sump try having it to the side or just above the pump so the big bubbles rise and only the tiny ones get sucked in
PS That back wall is going to be stunning when all that monti grows out!
