Plumbing The 300 Gallon Reef Tank

In this video i will be installing customaquariums.com stealth overflow box with double H2 Overflows on the 300 gallon reef tank. I will also be installing a jebao dcs12000 return pump, apex flow sensor and wayne check valve to the Geo Sump. Once that is done ill be plumbing the three 1.5" drain lines to the sump and using two ball valves to make the herbie overflow method work. used a ball valve above the check valve shown in this video to add back pressure to the other side

Just fyi, you don't need to prime pvc glue or use purple. The color is for jobsite inspections. Industrial clear is more than strong enough and you don't leave the purple goop all over. Just my .02.

Tank looks awesome, can't wait for more updates.

Awesome stuff! I watched a video from MACNA about plumbing and they suggest using a silicon grease instead of teflon tape. Supposed to be a better seal and makes it easy to take back off if you need to. Just FYI.
