No way the diffusers could cause its.. .(i had it before) and its the exact same light... jsut diffused! I ordered some natural bacteria product im going to try before i go the chemiclean route :)

I've been using chemi pure blue since it came out and it does a magnificent job in my tank I put two bags in to 150 gallon love it

Please don’t use the chemi clean...let the tank just do what it wants to do....I would try to really suck up the detritus in the sand bed during water changes and also what helped me was by adding more blue and taking down the red and green in the color spectrum....that keeps most algae at a minimum in my tank big change when I did that
