what are you using for your two part? dosing pumps? thats some big tubing in them. never seen such a sophisticated set up be sumpless. nice tank. acans look real happy!

In real life all of those fish would need a 180g+ tank, and moorish idols are VERY hard to keep.

Lolz, CW + RB = Growth but terrible color NW + RB = Actually good looking corals Go to NR and read up some of Milad's and Jedi's posts on spectrum.

try to get one with at least 2 watt diodes.If you go on ebay look up led reef lighting.There are only a couple of good lights on there but the 120 watt are good.Make sure you hang it atleast 12 inches above the water.Good luck.

Honestly, how hard is it to create a reef tank like this?! I have a 20 gallon with only live rock. I wasn't sure if I had enough tank for it. I would realllly love to create something like spectacular like this!

Go on ebay and buy a $150.00 120 watt blue/white LED fixture your coral will look like they are on steriods with so much color and vigor.

@Cloudburst2000 Yep, Thank you! You guys made my Ph drop to 6.9, when like 6 of you gathered around the tank for an hour..I had to leave all the doors and windows open for over an hour after the meeting to bring it up again... acans stayed closed for a day or 2..lol

@thedwightguy You're right, I should have done some narration, but i did not. my fault. It would take forever to write down all the stuff im using on this set up. A good book from Anthony Calfo would help much more than my sorry explanation, belive me:-) It wasn't an 8 month progress.. What you see is a 4 years old 10G tank transfered to a 20G.

A little narration would be nice; obviously you're dosing and that HOB refugium is playing it's role, and you have some higher end current movement, as evidenced by the unit OUTSIDE the tank. but as someone who plans on saltwater an explanation of the complete package, total volume, and WHEN and WHAT SIZE the corals went in; eight months doesn't really tell me anything. that' s a LOT of progress for eight months.
