Surge device wave maker reef tank build and plumbing. This allows to have a random wave surge within the aquarium and act more like the real environment in the ocean. Roughly 5 gallons every 50 seconds surges into the tank with a siphon and gravity forced into the display tank. Currently running a submersible return pump to filter the water via a hose and a ball valve, as well running the surge device with a mag drive return pump. Check for next update as I will be adding fish, crush coral for sand bed and installing the 250 watt metal halide 10000k. Along with some live rock that is from my other display tank with amazing purple coralline algae on it. Would like to add corals when I'm ready and water perameters are stable and in the right range. May install my vertex omega 150 protein skimmer in the sump. Wood oak canopy and stand all complete, water changes and temperature monitor and ph.
