Thanks. You don't attache them yourself. You just have to put them there and if they like it, they will attached themselves. You should monitor it closely in the beginning though. If they don't like it, they will move themselves and likely fall off the rock.

Don't quote me on it but I believe they expel eggs and sperm into the water column, similar to snails. I have a video of my Tectus snails spawning and I got babies of those from a previous spawn in the sump.

If your flow and light is good and the clam is happy with it, they will put the foot down and attach to the rocks.

Yes, I sold most of them since my tang started to take bites out of them but they are fine under 4X T5

Thanks for your kind words. I have a 4 bulb T5 light fixture. 2X Actinic Plus (22,000K I believe), 1X 10,000K and 1 KZ Fiji Purple. Something was nipping on the clam mantels though. I already removed the cleaner wrasse so I hope the powder blue will leave them alone.

OMG!! The colors on the clams mantles are "REDICULOUS"!!!! Makes me wish I didn't have a Copperband in my tank cause he'd probably tear them up. What lighting are you using?
